Katherina Tsirakis is an artist of composite languages: dance, cinema, music, crossed by psychology and visual arts (in line with her trajectory). She works mainly as a film director for short films and video clips, always allied to dance.

 

She began her career as a dancer at the age of 3, and as a professional in 2009 at the 29th Bienal de SP. He has already received awards at festivals with films of his creation and direction (in countries such as France, USA, Chile, Canada).  

 

Psychologist (PUC-SP) and screenwriter (FAAP-SP), she studied Limón dance technique (Limón Foundation-NY) and brings in her curriculum performances for renowned directors such as Marina Abramovic, Beto Brant, Antônio Araújo, Alejandro Ahmed and Zé Celso Martinez. It also has renowned collaborators in its authorial works such as: Beto Villares, Renato Falcão, Dustan Gallas, Filipe Tichauer, Isabella Dragão.

 

In 2020 Katherina unfolded her long connection with music and released her first musical album “Lilith”. In it, he puts into action the union of dance, music and audiovisual arts in a sequence of video clips that unfolds a trajectory in parts.  

 

Currently, in addition to being an entrepreneur, she is preparing to record her first feature film, Cinto D'Água.
